There were no podium celebrations, but Canada’s three relay teams all finished in the top-10 on Saturday at the Junior and Under-23 Nordic World Ski Championships in Finland.
Olivier Léveillé became just the third Canadian ever to win an individual medal at the Nordic World Junior Ski Championships while celebrating the bronze on Friday in Vuokatti, Finland.
It was a historic day for Canada today with Olivier Léveillé absolutely crushing his 10km individual skate race and winning a bronze medal in the Junior Men's category!
Today was the U23 classic sprint race which is the first and last official sprint race for most of the Canadian athletes!
