The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) and the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club have teamed up to offer a new scholarship for Nordic athletes.  A UNBC Otway Nordic Legacy Scholarship has been announced that will give full-tuition to a student studying at UNBC and is training at Otway. 

Strathcona Nordic Ski Club Head Coach Dave Battison has been awarded the Coaches Association of Canada “Community NCCP Coach Developer Award” sponsored by Investors Group.
