The Junior B Tour wrapped up on Sunday at the OPA (European Continental Cup) races in Campra Switzerland. A happy and tired group of skiers then headed back to Canada, after an exciting European adventure.

There was a distinctive buzz about the stadium as over twenty colourful teams, with their tents and equipment, prepared for the provincial races.

A new event called ‘Cross-Country Cross’ is being tested at the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer

Annika Richardson of Hollyburn in B.C. and Levi Nadlersmith of Manitoba's Downtown Nordic will be representing Canada at the 2nd Youth Olympic Games. The events will be held in Lillehammer, Norway, site of the 1994 Olympics

The Larch Hills Nordic Society (Salmon Arm) led the Teck Okanagan Cup Series once again by accumulating 579 points in just two races.

The Junior B Tour continued their adventures in Europe with a classic sprint in the Open Jr. classes at the OPA Continental Cup in Campra, Switzerland.
