BC Ski Team in Sweden
2025 B-Tour
April 6th, 2025
The final day of our Swedish expedition was a very long day of travel. We woke up bright and early at 5 am, enjoying a custom-made early-morning breakfast courtesy of the Luleå Scandic. Tired and bleary-eyed, we made our way through the airport and onto our first flight to the Stockholm Airport. In Stockholm, we filled our layover with exploring and homework, before filing onto our next flight. Two hours of napping later, we landed in Munich, where we were pleasantly surprised by the modern, spacious airport (a pleasant contrast to our experience in Frankfurt ten days earlier). We braced ourselves as we sat down on our longest flight of the journey, the 10-hour ride to Vancouver. With a couple of movies and some good sleep, however, the flight was over in no time, and we walked into the Vancouver Airport happy to be breathing fresh air again. As we waited for our luggage, we exchanged hugs and goodbyes as we all went our separate ways. Some, like me, took another flight, while others headed home to Vancouver or the island. Wherever we were headed, the memories from the trip were certainly playing through our minds!
