The BC Ski Team in Sweden, 2016

Ten members of the BC Ski Team attended a two-week training camp in Sweden this summer. The camp was held at two main locations - Torsby and Solleftea.

Schedule Overview

July 29               Departure from Vancouver to Stockholm. Overnight in Stockholm
July 31-Aug 4      Week 1 – Skiing in Torsby Ski Tunnel (5 days on snow)
Aug 4                 Drive to Mora (home of the Vasaloppet)  
Aug 5                 Drive to Solleftea, watch/compete in World Cup Rollerskiing
Aug 7-12            Week 2- Elite Camp with Swedish Junior National team (in Solleftea)
Aug 12               Drive to Stockholm,
Aug 13               Sightseeing in Stockholm  
Aug 14               Return flight from Stockholm to Vancouver
