PROVINCIAL COACHING EXPERIENCE
Provincial Coaching Experience (PCE): This program provides opportunities for developing coaches to get practical coaching experience by observing/assisting experienced coaches while they are working at Provincial Team camps or at inter-provincial/national competitions.
Note #1: the first deadline for applying for the 2014-15 assignments is May 1st, 2014.
Note #2: coaches in the new NCCP system can use these assignments as part of their "practical" training towards CCI Advanced certification - see the attached NCCP CCI - T2T Experience Form.
Note #3: CCBC is looking for an experienced wax technician for the Canada Winter Games assignment.
Any certified coach residing in BC can apply by filling out the 2014/15 PCE Assignment Application Form (attached). Refer periodically to this link (http://crosscountrybc.ca/provincial-coaching-experience-pce) on the CCBC website for future updates.
Selected coaches will be sent an information package explaining their assignment. This includes CCBC cost reimbursements policies, the details of the particular camp or trip, and so on.
